Feel at home at Amberfields with the choice of two quiet, spacious and romantic suites both beautifully appointed with quality bed linens, soft towels, bathrobes, slippers, fresh flowers and modern furnishings. We also have a single room (see below). After a restful sleep, wake to serene farmlands and enjoy a fabulous healthy breakfast that will set you up for what promises to be another great day! Our Outdoor Patio is accessed through the Lounge and the Single Room.
Included in the tariff is your complimentary farm-sized country breakfast.
Continental breakfast consists of home-made crunchy muesli (granola to our American friends), fresh fruit compote, yogurt, fresh juice and freshly baked wholemeal grain bread still slightly warm and served with our own jams, local honey and spreads. This is followed with a hot cooked breakfast with fresh eggs (courtesy of our happy free-range chickens), crispy bacon and a side dish of the day. A selection of various teas and French press coffee is always on hand with home baked cookies or cake. Champagne available upon request (a favorite of the ladies). We use only fresh organic produce whenever available, either from our garden or from our local gardeners.

The Rose Garden Suite is our Premium Suite / California King Bed
Set in its own large private wing, the luxurious and romantic Rose Garden Suite is framed by wall to wall glass looking through a stunning white rose garden (except in winter). It is a spacious and graceful suite featuring a very large California King Bed, separate tea and coffee making amenities and bar fridge, 42 inch television, a large walk-in tiled bathroom with heated towel rails and your own private outdoor patio. The Rose Garden ensuite bathroom has easy wheelchair access and showering space for a chair, if required (we will provide a chair for you). Two person maximum occupancy.

The Mountain View Room / Queen Bed
The Mountain View Room is slightly smaller than the Rose Garden Suite and includes a large Queen Bed, glass and iron side tables, separate wardrobe and ensuite. With wide windows revealing unobstructed views of majestic Mount Pirongia, this lovely room captures the warmth and hue of the afternoon sun creating a restful, dreamy ambience. Perfect for that afternoon snooze. Two person maximum occupancy.

Single Room supplement, for parties of three
Tariff: NZD $150 per night single occupancy when the Rose Garden or Mountain View Suite is booked
This additional single room is for those traveling as a party of three. The room has a King Single bed suitable for maximum of one adult or child. The cost is NZD $150 per night. The single room is on a shared bathroom basis when booking one of the two suites. You have your own direct access to the lovely outdoor patio from this room, which also serves as our home office. Guests have use of the antique desk and desktop computer on request.
Single Room for price conscious Solo Travelers (same single room as above)
Tariff: NZD $200 per night Two-Night minimum
This comfortable Single Room may suit your needs, you will of course still enjoy all the luxuries and lovely amenities that Amberfields provides.
Suitable for one person occupancy with private bathroom. Only available if the Mountain View Room is not booked.
